ABNL Begins Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the first day of ABNL and it promises to be an exciting day with observations of the natural world and learning from our guest speaker, Mr. Mark Stephens, from MSU's Project FISH.  As I watch the weather forecast for the week, the voice in my head keeps saying, "This is Michigan, it can change."  Knowing that Michigan weather changes often, please watch the weather and dress your child appropriately.  Layers, long pants, and close toed shoes are always a good bet to keep your child comfortable for whatever weather they many encounter.  We have rain ponchos at the Center, but if your child has a raincoat that they would rather wear, that's fine. Also, please send them a sack lunch everyday.  If you are available to help out on Thursday and/or Friday, please let me know.  We are doing water testing on Thursday and could use three more parents.  On Friday, we have wrap up activities and clean-up of the Center where extra hands are always appreciated.  "Nature needs us and we need nature." Happy Exploring!
