Fire Prevention Week

On Monday, October 8, three Bath Township Firefighters (Clayton's dad was one!) came to our classroom to talk about fire safety and prevention.  They reminded students to have a meeting place outside their home in case of fire, know their address, know how many people are in their family, and have two ways out of their home.  Just like we do in school, have a fire alarm practice session at your house.  They also suggested that families should have a safety ladder for exiting an upstairs window.  You can find many styles, designs and price ranges on the Internet.  Here's a link to Amazon to check out.  http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=3180251
