It's hard to believe that Third Grade is coming to an end. Today was a great day for Field Days. Students had fun all morning with a variety of athletic events and then ended with a hot dog lunch in the classroom. On Wednesday school is dismissed at 2:15 PM and Thursday and Friday are half days with dismissal at 12:05 PM.
At this time of year, I think back to the first week of school and marvel at the amount of growth students do. Physically, academically, emotionally. . . they mature and develop so much between 8 and 9 years old. It has been a privilege and joy to teach your child this year. My hope is that you have a safe, relaxing and fun summer with your child. Be sure to stop in and say "hi" in September!
