Fine Arts Day is always a day that highlights the creative side of students. Today was no exception. Students went to various classrooms in the elementary building and participated in making button bracelets, watercolor painting, origami, hatmaking, kite making, making paper airplanes and painting in the style of Georgia O'Keeffe to name a few of the choices. The finale was a musical performance from the Lansing Symphony Woodwind Quintet. They played music from Peter and the Wolf, the MSU Fight Song, and other pieces that showcased each of the instruments. It was a great day to enjoy and appreciate the arts!
