We ended this week by writing and recording our first podcast. We plan to do weekly or bi-weekly reports on what we do in the classroom and tell you about our learning. We are meeting many of the Language Arts GLCEs of speaking and writing with this project. . . plus, it's fun! Make sure you click on the link to the right and listen in.
FIRST GRADE BUDDIES
We paired up with first grade students from Mrs. Minsky's class today. Not only is it nice to meet other Bath Bees, but we are also practicing and improving our fluency, the ability to read smoothly, with expression and good pacing, when we read out loud. Readers use very different skills when they read out loud compared to silent reading. This is a fun way to enhance that skill.
