Third grade students finished the first week of school by practicing journal writing. The week of April 25-29, 2011, students will travel to Harris Nature Center in Okemos for Annie's BIG Nature Lesson. A big part of the experience is making observations and journal writing. We began our preparation and practice for ABNL by observing the pond near the school. It was a perfect day for writing outside. . . the sun was shining and there was plenty of nature to observe--including duck weed on the pond!
