We were honored today to have members of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) come to school and talk to 4th grade students about the drafting and writing of the Constitution. It was exciting to listen to their talk and have them dress in costume of the time period. In addition to passing out pencils and brochures from the National Archive, students were able to see flags from specific time periods and a parade sword!
