Welcome Back! I hope you all enjoyed your time off and are ready for the last few weeks of Third Grade! On Monday, students will do Mileage Club each morning during their special time. Since we have the first time of the day (8:55-9:40), it can still be chilly. It is helpful to dress in layers and wear shoes that can withstand the Mileage Club track in all kinds of weather.
The spelling words this week are compound words and come from the story,
Boomtown. (Unit 5, Week 1). As always, there are many activities on spelling city.com to help with practice and with mastering the spelling of these words. The spelling test will be on Friday.
In math, we will resume our exploration of fractions. The test on fractions (Chapter 8) will be on Thursday.
