In honor of Homecoming, Bath Elementary will be participating in Spirit Week and will have a daily theme.
Monday -- Pajama and Crazy Hair Day
Tuesday -- Team Day
Wednesday -- Color Day (3rd graders wear ORANGE)
Thursday -- Mis-match Day
Friday -- Blue and White Day
This week we will continue to identify the main idea and details in the reading selection, Penguin Chick. This is a narrative nonfiction full of delightful illustrations and fun facts. The spelling words follow the long o sound and we will learn about predicates in grammar.
We are continuing our study of plants and plant parts. Students have vocabulary words, a Summary Sheet of the chapter, and a couple of other study guides to help them prepare for the Chapter Test. This test will be given on Monday, October 7. We will continue learning and reviewing this week to ensure success on the test. Reviewing with your child at home can also help with confidence on Monday!
