Constitution Day

On September 17, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia met for the last time to sign the document they had created.  They had spent a hot summer debating and drafting what became the "law of the land."  Today, we remembered and learned about the work they accomplished through a video, class discussion, and picture books.  We even wrote our own Classroom Constitution and signed it, just like the Founding Fathers did.  To help us remember the day, we even made Constitution Day bracelets!
