Holiday Week

There will be plenty of action in Room 210 this week. Listed below are some of the important events.

Tuesday -- Math test on Chapter 3 Understanding Multiplication
Students have really enjoyed this chapter. You can practice at home by making equal groups of items and then have your child write a multiplication sentence to match. There are also plenty of on-line games to practice identifying equal groups.

Wednesday -- Science test on Chapter 7 Rocks and Minerals
The vocabulary words for this chapter are on the blog from earlier in the week. Reviewing these words with your child will help them during the test. They also have a summary sheet that was done in class. We will have a Jeopardy review game on Tuesday.

Please send your mug in the for the gift exchange by Tuesday, December 13. The holiday party is Thursday beginning at 2 PM. We will be watching the movie, Elf, which is rated PG. Please drop me a note, email, or call if you have concerns and would rather have your child do other winter activities. We will frost cookies, eat donuts (from the Bath Farmers Market) and drink hot cocoa.

School will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Have a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends.
