Tissue Paper Winter Landscape
Just in time for the wintry weather, students have worked on an art project for the past two days. First, students did a watercolor wash for the winter sky and snowy ground. Next, tissue paper squares and rectangles were overlapped and glued onto another piece of white paper. When both sheets were dry, students cut triangle shapes and glued the trees onto the snowy ground. Next, a Sharpie was used to make the trunk and branches and finally, white paper punches were glued as fun, flurry snowflakes. Enjoy the slideshow if you're not able to see the original art in the hallway.
