Tuesday begins the first day of MEAP testing for your third grader. It is important that they get enough sleep the night before and eat a good breakfast the morning of testing day. English Language Arts MEAP will be on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Due to MEAP testing this week, we are setting aside the Treasures Core Reading Program. Your child will not have a Weekly Reading Assessment or a spelling test on Friday, October 14. We will resume the Treasures reading program with Unit 1, Week 5, the week of October 17-21.
There will be a holiday party planning meeting at 4:00 PM on Thursday, October 13, in the classroom. This is for interested parents that would like to help organize the three holiday parties. The first party is this month, Friday, October 28, for Halloween. The other two parties are for Christmas and Valentine’s Day. If you would like to help, but can’t make the meeting, just let me know by a note, email, or a phone call.
