April showers. . . . you know how the rest goes! It was another wet one at Harris. We made a few adjustments in our scheduling and had a lesson on animal adaptations inside the Center. Students learned about turtles, snakes, and salamanders. Miss Kati took some of the animals out of their cages and students were able to touch them gently to feel textures of different kinds of reptiles. They also learned about different adaptations that animals make that allow them to survive in their habitat.
