In celebration of "March is Reading Month", all classrooms in the elementary decorated their classroom door today with their favorite book or author. Of course, we chose the Magic Tree House series written by Mary Pope Osborn. Students decided to show the most recent title in that series, A Crazy Day with Cobras. As you can see by the photo, the door is amazing and students received many compliments from passers-by as they were working on the door. Don't forget to check out the March calendar for many other reading activities. PBK (Parents, Books, and Kids) is every Monday, Wednesday, or Friday morning from 8:20-8:40 in the Media Center. This is a great way to start the day and have some fun listening to your child read.
A "Home and School Connection" was sent home today and lists many important dates and events that are happening in the school. Be sure to read it and let me know if you have any questions. Have a great weekend and remember to set aside some time for reading.
