After reading Jan Brett's Gingerbread Friends, students made their own gingerbread houses (complete with friends inside holding hands) out of paper grocery bags. Each house is uniquely decorated to the builder's taste! They even ate gingerbread cookies as they decorated and built their houses! When you're in the building take a look at the creations in the hallway.
