Even though this was a short week of school, your 4th grader was busy. We finished MEAP testing on Tuesday (Yahoo!) and began to set our sights on upcoming events--ABNL and swimming. Enjoy some of the photos of students as they found their "quiet place" and observed the natural surroundings of the school yard. We are looking forward to our week at Bengal Wildlife Center (November 3-7) as we take our learning off site!
Thursday was a completely fun day as we headed to the YMCA for our first swimming lesson. Room 210 is filled with confident swimmers that are sure to challenge the accomplishments of Michael Phelps! The smiles and happy shouts were delightful. Parents are invited to the final swim lesson on December 17 (10:30 to 11:30) to witness the development of these young swimmers.
It was a pleasure seeing parents at conferences. Thank you for your insights and support as work together to prepare your child for 5th grade and beyond. Enjoy the weekend.
