Thursday at ABNL

Students learned about rocks today from Miss Lena, a former naturalist at Woldumar Nature Center. Students learned about the three types of rocks --igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic. They did two experiments to help them understand the forces of weathering and erosion. The observation time today was a little chilly, but still fun. For some students, today was the best day so far! Tomorrow is supposed to be a little colder, so be sure to dress for the weather.
