Today students became familiar with Bengel Wildlife Center and all that it has to offer. We had a "Discovery Walk" led by naturalists, Mrs. Derken and Mr. Brigham. We were fortunate to see and hear the beautiful sound of Sandhill cranes. For our observation this afternoon, we went to the prairie. Many students were able to see galls on the goldenrod stem and hear the cranes again! We're looking forward to Tuesday where we will learn about water! You might also like to read the
