Monday of "Nature Week"

Welcome back.  I hope all of you had a fantastic Spring Break and a Happy Easter.  As you can see, Spring is here! We had a fantastic first day of our Nature Week.  Mr. Murphy was our guest speaker and shared all kinds of facts about glaciers, moraines, lobes, and eskers.  Be sure to ask your child to share what they learned today.  In the afternoon, we did our nature observation around our very own pond! As you might guess with the sunshine and warm temperatures, we were able to see pond life soaking up the sun.

We will be going to Potter Park Zoo on Friday for the Arbor Day festivities.  We feel very fortunate to be one of the classrooms from the Lansing area that was invited to attend this year.  What a special way to end our Nature Week.  Students will need to bring a sack lunch that day and of course, dress for the weather;  sun screen, layers, and comfortable walking shoes.

Enjoy the photos from today!
