Looking At Plant Parts

Today, students had the chance to look at plant parts and identify the jobs of each part. For example, the root not only holds the plant in the ground, but it takes in minerals and water from the soil. The leaves make food for the plant and release oxygen and carbon dioxide into the air. The stem supports leaves and moves water and minerals to different parts of the plant. Enjoy the video and photos of their work today. The chapter test is Monday, October 7.
